DLM is active in engineering, contruction, the carrying out of complex installations, and production of metal components for major structures. DLM makes a point of honor of seeing that its welders are qualified (QSOP). Training courses leading to qualification in welding methods (QMOS) are provided in order to teach the specialized skills required by welders. Courses are run by an accredited organization, in line with current international standards: the European EN 288 standard and the American ASMA standard, section 9.
Human resources responsible for quality control (non-destructive testing) are qualified in the following areas:
- Radiographic testing
- Ultrasonic testing
- Magnetic particle testing
- Liquid penetrant testing
- Certified testers( COFREND, COMEND, ASMT)
